Serving San Pedro: Our Commitment to the Community We Call Home

United Servants Credit Cooperative was established with a clear geographic and social purpose: to serve Filipino citizens residing in San Pedro, Laguna. That local focus shapes everything from our lending decisions to the way we design our services.

Rooted in the community

Being a community-based cooperative means our Board of Directors, officers, and staff live in and understand the realities of San Pedro. When a member applies for a loan to expand a small business or cover an emergency expense, the decision is made by people who understand the local context — not a distant institution applying a one-size-fits-all policy.

What community focus looks like day to day

Accessible location

Our office at Unit 6, ERO Building, Ramirez St., San Pedro, Laguna, was chosen to be reachable for the members we serve, without the need to travel to a distant branch or city center.

Transparent governance

As a cooperative registered with the CDA, we operate under a governance structure where members can participate in decisions that affect the institution — a level of transparency not typically available at a commercial financial institution.

Reinvestment, not extraction

Surplus generated by the cooperative is returned to members through dividends and reinvested into better services, rather than flowing out to external shareholders.

Looking ahead together

As USCC continues to grow, our commitment to San Pedro remains unchanged. Every new member who joins strengthens our collective capacity to serve the broader community — and every peso saved or borrowed responsibly keeps that value circulating locally.
